Hello Darlings
So after Rock Werchter Festival was over, hubby and I decided that we’re not done having fun yet, so we took the Eurostar train from Brussels to continue our vacation in Amsterdam. I never been to Amsterdam so this was my first time there, but this one time was enough for me to want to stay there forever!
I had such a good time, this city just has it all; Arts, museums, fashion, festivals, music concerts, fun people, and most importantly, amazing vintage stores and shopping venues. I found many cool items in stores like Episode, Kilo Shop Amsterdam and Marbles vintage, and hopefully I will be shooting them soon and post them on the blog. So if you’re going to Amsterdam soon, don’t miss out on these stores.
We spent the first day walking around and exploring the city, and in the next days we went to Madam Tussauds museum, Stedelijk museum, Vondelpark, Amsterdam Noord, and many other amazing places. On one day of our vacation in Holland we went to Utrecht city. We had a fun bicycle ride at the park with the green trees and nature surrounding us. Utrecht was more quiet and relaxed, and less busy than Amsterdam. So if you go there you can enjoy a peaceful and beautiful place.
The last day before our flight back home I celebrated my birthday. I started the day with proper shopping (gifts for myself, duh!), then we went to the Jasmine restaurant, and to a nice bar to conclude. It was a magical and sad day at the same time, because I was enjoying every minute that I was just too sad to leave the next morning. Now that I’m thinking about it, I kind of regret not taking more photos from Amsterdam to show you all the wonderful places we went to and the experiences we had, and also because some of the outfits I was wearing were not photographed. But then again, I was just too busy having fun. So I hope these will do ;)
Is that just me or these buildings are really “high” ?
