Remember when I told you how I love plaid here? Well, here’s another proof. Plaid was so popular in the last few years, especially in the last winter. But who said you can’t wear it also now?

The difference between wearing plaid at winter and wearing it at summer is the colors you match with it. For a wintry look you might want to choose darker and deeper colors, but in the summer you can combine it with lighter or livelier colors. I was looking for an interesting color combination for this midi skirt and this royal blue seemed just perfect to me.

Keep in mind that midi is the right length for skirts and dresses this season, so don’t hesitate to get yourself a couple of them (or much more..). It doesn’t have to be a pencil midi skirt since this kind might not complement every figure (I talked about how to wear a midi pencil skirt in this post, check it out), so you can go back to the 50’s with a romantic full skirt, which is even trendier right now. I’m looking for one myself.. Hope to find the perfect skirt really soon.
